Groups & Events at Happy Goat Retreat     
Happy Goat Retreat is a private 14-acre retreat designed for bringing people together. Whether you're planning a family reunion, wedding, corporate retreat, church retreat, birthday celebration, or other special gathering, our property offers the space, accommodations, and amenities to keep your entire group together in one place.

With overnight accommodations for 50 guests, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a 40-foot container pool, fishing ponds, fire pits, outdoor games, a summer kitchen, and our Barndo, there's plenty of room to gather, celebrate, relax, and make memories.

Our pool is heated from November through March. During the warmer months, the black container design naturally absorbs the Texas sunshine, keeping the water warm without additional heating.

Cleanup & Property Care: We ask that all group spaces be returned to the way they were found. A $350 cleanup fee will apply if additional cleanup or resetting of the space is required.

  •  Fish in our two stocked catch-and-release ponds, home to crappie, bluegill, bass, and catfish

  •  Cook outdoors at the Barndo, with charcoal grills, gas grills, smokers, and space for a crawfish boil

  •  Just minutes from Lake Conroe, where you can rent boats, kayaks, and paddleboards

                CORPORATE RETREAT

  •  Step away from the office and bring your team together in a private, relaxed setting
  • Use the Barndo or Cadillac Suite for meetings, presentations, workshops, and group sessions
  • Projector, screen, tables, and chairs are available and can be set up for your meeting space with advance notice
  •  The Cadillac Suite also features a TV for presentations and meetings
  • Take meetings outdoors or enjoy a change of scenery around the property
  • Plan team-building activities with volleyball, cornhole, fishing, outdoor games, and plenty of open space
  • Recharge between meetings with time by the pool or a peaceful walk around the property
  • Gather around the fire pit in the evening for conversation and team bonding
  •  Customize your retreat with catering, activities, or other local vendors
